AI (Artificial Intelligence)

Do you use AI to make your items?

Nope! All illustrated items such as cards and stickers, as well as items engraved on my home laser cutting machine were drawn and designed by me. If you see them elsewhere online (especially if listed for a very cheap price!) without my shop or name being credited, then you are probably looking at a stolen version or a knock-off.

Is everything in your shop handmade?

I pay for professional services (such as printing for stickers) if I do not own the equipment needed to make the physical item, but the drawings or illustrations themselves are mine. I make and assemble all the acrylic items such as stitch markers, jewelry, and keychains in my home studio.

Stitch Markers

What size knitting needle do the stitch markers fit?

The markers generally fit a size 10.5 (US) knitting needled, although for the bulb pins, you will need to move the number charm towards the opening of the pin to make it fit a needle that size.

Can you make me a custom set of markers engraved with my range of number of specific needle or hook sizes, my best friend's name, or wedding date?

Yes, most likely! Text (letters, numbers, standard keyboard symbols like punctuation) work best rather than images. I'm not able to engraved copyrighted or trademarked items unless you hold the copyright or trademark. Please contact me about the specifics of your idea and how soon you need the finished markers. Custom orders may require extra time.

Jewelry Care

How do I care for my items?

Sterling silver and copper will darken over time. Generally just a soft cloth is all you need to keep your items bright. See my jewelry care page (on my personal website) for detailed tips.

I am sensitive to some metals. Can you help me?

My necklaces use stainless steel chain and my earrings use sterling silver ear wires. If you need different materials (such as 14k gold-filled ear wires), please contact me before ordering. I'm usually able to accommodate most requests! There may be an additional fee, depending upon your specific needs.

Returns

Do you take returns?

Yes, I do take returns on non-personalized handmade items within a certain time period. Items must be in original shape, not worn or used.

Shipping

When will my order ship? Do you ship to my country?

I typically ship handmade items within 3 business days (Monday-Friday) to the U.S., Canada, and Australia. If you need something in a hurry, please contact me. Sometimes I am able to ship early, so please ask if you have a deadline! See the Shipping page for full details.

Where do you ship from?

Handmade items will ship from my home in Colorado. 

How much does shipping cost?

Most items will ship via USPS. U.S. shipping is a $5 flat rate through the end of 2026. This means that if you order 1 notecard or 5 notecards, the shipping will be the same cost. Orders $35+ (before tax) ship for free in the U.S.!

Shipping for Canada and Australia lists the full First Class fee. If you are not in a hurry for your items, I can offer a discounted shipping price. The cheaper shipping may take up to 4 weeks to arrive.

Gifts

Do you gift wrap?

Most handmade items will come in a gift box to protect the items during shipping. I can print gift messages and add a gift tag or card with ribbon at no additional charge. Just ask!

Custom Orders

Do you make custom orders?

I sometimes make custom orders if they are similar to items I already sell. For example, I can make custom stitch markers with a yarn shop or conference name on them. Feel free to contact me with your project idea to see if it's a good fit and if there is enough time to meet your deadline. 

Wholesale & Bulk Orders

Do you wholesale?

Yes, I wholesale most products to retail shops. My items generally sell well in museum gift shops, libraries, bookstores, yarn shops, and other independent retailers. Please contact me for order minimums and other details. 

Do you offer bulk orders?

I do offer discounts on larger orders, generally $100+. Large orders do take extra time, so please contact me so I can make sure there is enough time to meet your deadline.
