Ear Wires: Sterling silver Sterling silver ear wires are more expensive than silver-plated, but are generally a better choice for those with metal sensitivities. (The plating can wear off in cheaper silver-plated earrings, leaving the base metal exposed.) Earrings come with optional rubber ear backs.
