The front and back covers of this matte journal show colorful music symbols (treble clef, bass clef, sharp, flat, whole note, quarter note, eighth note) all made using my original abstract acrylic paintings. The background is an ivory color with shadows of those same symbols. I love how music notes can linger in your mind long after you hear them and that was my inspiration for the shadowy effect.
