Ear wires: Sterling silver ear wires Sterling silver ear wires are more expensive than silver-plated, but are generally a better choice for those with metal sensitivities. The plating (the top coat of silver) can wear off in cheaper silver-plated earrings, leaving the base metal exposed. With sterling silver, you don't have to worry because the entire wire is made with silver.
Earrings come with rubber ear nuts (backs). Exact type may vary.
