Hope Postcard with Lighthouse, Sailboat and Seagull

This postcard feature one of my original illustrations of a lighthouse with a sailboat in the background on a (mostly) sunny day. There is a little sign that says "Welcome to Hope," as I drew this design after researching common symbols of hope: light, brightness, birds, lighthouses, nature. I added plenty of blue with the sky and sea because I find blue so calming. I hope it gives you (or the recipient) hope!

On the back of the postcard, I've left a space for the address, your message, and a stamp. My website address is written in small letters on the back.

Paper: These postcards have a matte front and back for smooth writing. The paper weight is 14 pt, a standard weight. These cards are professionally printed in a shop, not in my home studio.

Size: 4 x 6" (10.2 x 15.2 cm)
This is the largest size postcard you can mail with one U.S. postcard stamp. Postcard stamps are a little cheaper than letter stamps. (Larger postcards require extra postage.)

Single postcards (or small amounts) ship in a sturdy cardboard mailer with package tracking. (Larger amounts of postcards may ship in boxes.)
